La Zingara Pizzeria Trattoria

First of all the menu was very limited and boring typical Italian fare veal scallopini, chicken marsala, risotto con funghi etc. The service was very authentic a rude, snobby Northern Italian waiter. Now the best part, upon looking at my bank statement a week later I had a mini heart attack after realizing they had over charged me by $700 for my bill and wiped out that particular account. Not wanting to accuse them of any foul play. I assumed it was an honest mistake (which I still genuinely believe it was). However, to my absolute astonishment when I was forced to go back over the border to take care of the matter in person (because they weren't familiar enough with credit card machines to credit the overcharged amount), upon telling them about the hassle I went through they proceeded to to tell me I shouldn't have dined there if I couldn't afford it. They then gave me more attitude and proceeded to make obvious the inconvenience that i was causing them by having to give back the $600!!!!!! that they owed me.

Great atmosphere, excellent/attentive service and above all very, very good italian food. the best restaurant on Erie Street by far.

the most authentic,Italian food in town. Being at Lazingara is like being in a trattoria in Italy.The service,is polished and knowledgeable and most of all friendly.The classiest place in Windsor,the restaurant is not intimidating at all. Most of all timeless...genius..characteristic...I definetly,would bring all my events, and intimate functions at La Zingara Trattoria.I know it will be first class, all the way..LaZingara brought Italy to the city, thankyou.Viva Italia.
