Kelsey's Restaurant

I will never go back to Kelseys they are very rude and not very helpful at all Getting your drink refilled is such a chore its crazy. I would not advise to go to this location to have a good time. If you wanted to have a challenging evening then go there. Proof just read the above notation from the lady who's sons retainer was basically stolen by an absent minded watress.

I am very unhappy with Kelsey's Restaurant in Belleville. Until very recently Kelsey's was one of my favourite restaurants. A dear friend and her family had taken my sons out for an evening out on the town. It was my friends birthday. My youngest son had a dental retainer with an artificial tooth attached to it that he had put on top of a napkin with another napkhin on top of it so that noone would see it while he ate. When the waitress was cleaning the plates off the table. She had grabbed the plates off the table and at the same time had grabbed the retainer. It was noticed immediately however they were unable to flag the waitress back to the table before she went into the kitchen. However they had summoned her to the table as soon as she came out of the kitchen. The dental retainer was never found. My friends family even went through the garbage to find the retainer. The waitress seemed unconcerned. I had spoken to the manager a few days later ( this was the soonest I could get someone to speak to me ) who stated that they were not responsible. My question was who was responsible? My son didn't loose the dental retainer the waitress had picked it up and then it disappeared. I find it very suspicious that they were unable to find the retainer. I suspect that it was broken and that they didn't want to admit to it. The dental retainer cost $450. I am absolutely appauld that Kelsey's did not pay to have it resplaced and that my friend's birthday was ruined because of this. It was really comforting to know that my friend's family spent an evening looking through the slops in the garbage at Kelsey's on her birthday. Thank you for making this evening so memorable.

Food is consistently good (not gourmet but v. good for chain restaurant). Wait and bar staff are excellent, and set the standard in town for service.
